Road of No Return by K.A. Merikan

4/5
First of all I received this book for an honest review so thanks and here:

What to write, what to write? Okay. Wow this book was Intense not an easy read it's dark, gritty and full of angst. Not for the faint of heart this one. Stitch is a biker in an MC full of homophobic bikers. Which would be fine if he weren't so deep in the closet he was choking on Aslan's ass. On the day of his divorce while partying up his freedom in walks the most perfect tattooed stranger.

Zak is new in town he inherited a house when his aunt died and decided to move in and become the town's tattoo artist. Going into a biker bar he's all about spreading the word on his new business and ends up meeting a sexy biker. After a hot tattooing session the two start seeing each other in secret but how long can they keep their little secret secret?

I notice a lot of people don't like Stitch but I can't help but like him sure he's possessive and wild but he has his good sides. Though Stitch is a criminal I feel sorta bad for him having to hide who he really is to stay in a club he doesn't really love anymore and to keep seeing his daughter whom his ex wife makes difficult. Zak is really cool in how he supports Stitch no matter what. I love the two together they have such explosive chemistry and throughout the book I keep hoping they will work it out and be together.

A really great book which I shall start recommending to my cooler of friends.

ARC Review: Swan Prince by Erin Lark

3/5
I'm not usually one to read shifter books but this one was pretty cool. Swan Prince is about Oliver, a swan shifter who's shot down one night by a hunter and ends up stuck in his human form. One day Bastian finds an injured naked man in one of his horse stalls naturally he's confused as to how he arrived there in the middle of a blizzard, but he takes him in anyway patches up his wound and offers him a job. Oliver stays with Bastian for a while and helps him out with the horses while his shoulder heals but once it does what will he do leave the man he's falling in love with and go back to his responsibilities as prince to his flock or stay? An interesting read what with all the werewolf books out there these days I found this to be a refreshing change.

ARC Review City of Monsters by Andrea Speed

5/5
I loved Andrea Speed's Josh of the Damned series so naturally I was really excited for this. Hunter is living in Nightshade, a city of monsters, there are Vampires, Weres, Zombies, Yetis and other assorted scarys running around and Hunter is one of them, though he's not actually sure what exactly he is. Hunter works as a finder a sorta detective whom as the name implies finds things, on such a mission he runs into a new arrival, a cute guy who has just arrived at Nightshade. Scared and confused Sakari tags along with Hunter on his search for a missing fairy. Oh and there's a talking haunted blender. Yea, like you need another reason to love this.

Hideous by Devon McCormack

4/5
Hideous is a rather dark book that I actually enjoyed greatly. scarred and cursed after a demon possesses his father and kills his family Luke is put into a low paying job and monitored closely, for those who have been marked by a demon are more susceptible too demonic possession. In the attack that killed his family Luke lost an arm and an eye leading to some major self worth issues therefor he has problems believing anyone could possibly be interested in someone as "hideous" as him. Then comes Zack who is really an awesome guy, really. Zack is part of a little club that help cursed people like Luke and is who Luke turns to when his worst nightmare comes true and the demon who once possessed his father comes back for him. Though the book is rather gritty it is also a lovely love story.

Tequila Mockingbird by Rhys Ford

5 Stars!
The Sinner series is an amazing series about how a broken band is reborn. First the singer Miki, overcomes his grief to fall in love with a sexy Irish cop in Sinner's Gin then the guitarist, Damien returns from the dead in Whiskey and Wry and now Forest the drummer. A brand new member's story in Tequila Mockingbird.

Forest has a troubled past. Having a neglectant druggy mother and living on the streets and doing what he had to in order to survive as a child. He later finds a home with an aging hippy who takes him in but when his adoptive father is murdered he finds solace in the hunky Irish Lieutenant who takes to looking after him.

Conner is straight, or so he likes to think but after meeting the cute blond, Forest he can't seem to stop thinking about him and he starts a thinkin' that maybe it's time to throw that hereroness out the window.

Oh but this book isn't just a cute little gay for you love story, nope, it's also a kinda suspenseful mystery book what with someone gunning after hunter and killing and destroying left and right Conner has his hands full trying to protect his lil drummer boy.

Really great read seriously I am just In love with the Conner family and dreaming one day I'll find my own gorgeous Irish cop. (The last sentence in this book! OMG so can't wait for the next book!)
